The Montblanc Star Legacy Automatic Date, limited to 1,786 pieces, pays tribute to the intrepid Jacques Balmat, the first man to reach the summit of Mont Blanc in 1786. The timepiece features a burgundy glacier pattern dial with a sfumato effect on the dial exterior and a filet sauté, rose gold-plated indexes and numerals, and the Montblanc emblem on the counterweight of the second hand. The model is powered by the MB 24.17 automatic movement, which displays hours, minutes, seconds, and date. The timepiece is housed in a 39 mm stainless steel case with an open case back and comes with an interchangeable calfskin strap for an alligator-print strap with a vertical Sfumato pattern.
